Itinerary

Day 1: Hochiminh - My Tho

Meals: Lunch

• 08:30: Pick up from your hotel in Hochiminh / Meeting Point / Tan Son Nhat Airport and transfer to My Tho.
• 09:30: Arrive at My Tho and visit Vinh Trang Temple. This temple has a history of more than 100 years and incorporates elements of Hindu temples in its architectural style. The buildings are bright with many decorative flowers and light-weight designs.
• 10:30: Start Mekong tour by boat, visiting four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix.
• 12:30: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
• 14:00: Visit Coconut Island by boat, where you will visit the crocodile farm and have the opportunity to feed the crocodiles.
• 15:30: Return to Hochiminh City (Hotel / Meeting point).

Overnight in Hochiminh (Hotel not included)

Day 2: Hochiminh - Cu Chi Tunnels

Meals: Lunch

• 07:30: Pick up from your hotel in Hochiminh / Meeting Point and transfer to the Reunification Palace.
• 08:30: Visit the Reunification Palace, also known as Independence Palace. It is listed as a historical monument and is a significant site that witnessed great changes in Ho Chi Minh City’s history, encapsulating the essence of Eastern culture.
• 09:30: Visit Notre Dame Cathedral. This iconic cathedral is a major attraction in Ho Chi Minh City, drawing both Catholic believers and tourists alike due to its sacred atmosphere and magnificent architectural beauty.
• 10:30: Visit Saigon Central Post Office, a must-see tourist destination in Hochiminh City known for its charming colonial architecture and ornate decorations.
• 11:30: Visit the War Remnants Museum. Previously known as the ‘Museum of American War Crimes,’ it serves as a shocking reminder of the long and brutal Vietnam War.
• 12:30: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
• 14:00: Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, part of a massive war museum in Ho Chi Minh. These tunnels provide visitors with a glimpse into the underground life of Vietnamese soldiers back in 1948. The site includes over 120km of underground tunnels with trapdoors, living areas, kitchens, storage facilities, armory, hospitals, and command centers.
• 17:00: Return to Hochiminh City (Hotel / Meeting point).
