DAY 1: YANGON
Upon your arrival in Yangon, welcome by our tour guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Day at leisure. (D)

DAY 2: YANGON
Enjoy a private tour and drive through downtown to explore the city center and its fabulous mix of architecture and sites. Visit the famous Chauk Htat Kyi, and make a photo stop at the Karaweik Hall royal floating barge. Experience the amazing sunset view at Shwedagon Pagoda. (B, L)

DAY 3: YANGON - BAGAN
Early morning flight to Bagan. Begin your exploration with a visit to a busy local market. Spend the day exploring the architectural masterpieces of this amazing town with visits to a diverse selection of the most important pagodas and temples.

DAY 4: BAGAN - VILLAGE
Today, experience the real way of life for most Myanmar people by visiting local villages. In the late afternoon, transfer to the jetty where a private wooden riverboat awaits. Cruise down the Irrawaddy River until sunset, relax and enjoy the scenery. (B, L)

DAY 5: BAGAN – MANDALAY – AMARAPURA
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mandalay. Visit the Mahamuni Pagoda, local artisan workshops for gold leaf making, woodcarving, and marble carving. Continue to the Golden Palace, Kuthodaw Pagoda, and the 200-year-old teak bridge. (B, L)

DAY 6: MANDALAY – IRRAWADDY - MINGUN
Board a private local boat for a trip up the Irrawaddy to Mingun. Visit the Mingun Bell, which weighs more than 87 tons, and the Hsinbyume Pagoda. In the afternoon, visit the ruined remains of the Royal Palace. In the evening, enjoy a commanding overview of the city from Mandalay Hill. (B, L)

DAY 7: MANDALAY – HEHO – INLE LAKE
Fly to Heho, gateway to Inle Lake. From Heho, drive to Nyaung Shwe where you will board a boat and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and explore Inle Lake, passing by the floating gardens and houses. Proceed to Nampan village and visit a local cheroot factory. (B, L)

DAY 8: INLE LAKE - INDEIN
Start your day with a visit to the market. Continue sightseeing at Inle Lake, maneuvering by boat through scenic channels. Visit the fascinating Village of Indein, the “long neck” tribal women, and weaving and craft villages perched on stilts. (B, L)

DAY 9: INLE LAKE – HEHO – YANGON
Morning flight back to Yangon. Visit Scott Market, the sprawling 75-year-old market. Drive through the city to observe the influences of other cultures in the region, and visit Buddhist landmarks including Sule Paya and the over 100-year-old Rangoon Synagogue. Explore Little India and Chinatown. (B, D)

DAY 10: YANGON – DEPARTURE
Enjoy leisure time until transfer to the airport for your international departure flight.
